Depop Fee Calculator UK

Free Depop fee calculator for UK sellers: no selling fee, 2.9% + 30p payment processing, 12% boosting and Evri labels, with your payout and your profit.

The sale

What the buyer paid for the item, before shipping and sales tax.

With Depop Shipping (Evri): the label price for your parcel size, which the buyer pays at checkout. Keep the label price here with free shipping too; the buyer then pays none of it. Shipping your own way: what the buyer pays you for postage.

Depop settings

With Depop Shipping (Evri), enter the label price for your parcel size as shipping charged to the buyer, even when you cover it: with free shipping the buyer pays none and the whole label is deducted from your earnings. Shipping your own way: enter what the buyer pays for shipping, and your postage as your shipping cost.

Only when the buyer saw your boosted listing and bought it within 28 days. 12% of the item price, plus the shipping if you ship your own way; never charged on Depop Shipping labels. That 12% applies to listings created from 23 March 2026; an older boosted listing may still be charged the previous 8% — check your receipt.

Your costs

Only postage you buy yourself when you ship your own way. Depop deducts its own labels, so leave this at 0 with Depop Shipping.

Depop fees for UK sellers in 2026

Since 20 March 2024 Depop has charged no selling fee on UK listings. What you pay when an item sells is Depop Payments’ processing fee of 2.9% + £0.30, charged on what the buyer pays for the item and postage, and a 12% boosting fee when the sale came from a Boosted Listing. Buyers pay Depop’s Marketplace fee on top, so it never comes out of your earnings.

How you ship changes your payout

Depop has no price tiers, so no price is awkward to list at; postage is what moves your payout. Here is a £25.00 item with a £3.00 label, shipped four ways:

Payout on a £25.00 sale with a £3.00 label
ShippingFees and shipping you coverPayoutAfter postage
Depop Shipping, the buyer pays the label£1.11£23.89£23.89
Depop Shipping, free for the buyer£4.03£20.97£20.97
Your own label, the buyer pays £3£1.11£26.89£23.89
Your own label, free for the buyer£1.03£23.97£20.97

Covering the postage costs you £2.92 on this sale: the whole label, less the processing you would have paid on it. Only US sellers can set per-listing shipping discounts; in the UK, Depop Shipping with free postage comes up in bundles, where the seller is charged for the entire label. Shipping your own way for the same postage leaves the same, but a boosted sale then pays the boosting fee on your postage too.

Worked example: £25.00 vintage jeans

You sell a pair of vintage jeans that cost you £6.00 for £25.00, and the buyer pays £3.00 for a Depop Shipping label via Evri (an illustration: Depop prices the label from the parcel size you pick). These are the numbers the calculator above starts with:

Worked example, from sold price to profit
Sold price£25.00
Shipping charged to buyer+£3.00
Selling fee (0% of £25.00: none for UK sellers)£0.00
Payment processing (2.9% + £0.30 on £28.00: item price + shipping)−£1.11
Depop Shipping label (paid with the buyer's £3.00 shipping)−£3.00
Payout from Depop£23.89
Your shipping cost£0.00
Item cost−£6.00
Profit£17.89

There is no selling fee. Processing is £1.11: 2.9% of the £28.00 the buyer paid for the jeans and postage, plus £0.30. The £3.00 of postage pays for the Evri label, so Depop pays out £23.89. After the £6.00 the jeans cost you, your profit is £17.89: a 63.9% margin on the £28.00 the buyer paid for the jeans and postage. If the buyer found them through a Boosted Listing, the 12% boosting fee adds £3.00 and your payout falls to £20.89.

What Depop’s fees are charged on

  • The item price and postage. Processing applies to the item price plus the postage the buyer pays and any applicable taxes.
  • Boosted sales only. The boosting fee applies when the buyer saw the boosted listing, even without clicking it, and bought within 28 days, including after you stop boosting.
  • Depop Shipping labels. The label is deducted from your sale and is never part of the boosting fee.
  • Bundles. Processing is charged once per bundle transaction, not per item.
  • Refunds. If a sale is refunded, the processing and boosting fees are reversed automatically.
  • Pounds only. Zero selling fees apply to UK-based sellers and GBP sales.

One inconsistency to know about: the Boosted Listings Policy’s worked example (a £50.00 sale including postage) shows a £6.00 boosting fee, which matches, but prices processing at 3.3% + £0.45, the US rate, for £2.10. Depop’s fee table gives UK sellers 2.9% + £0.30, which is £1.75 on that sale. The calculator follows the fee table.

What the buyer pays

On top of your price and postage, a UK buyer pays Depop’s Marketplace fee: up to 5% of the item price plus up to £1.00, VAT included, shown exactly at checkout. For the jeans that is at most £2.25, so the buyer pays up to £30.25. None of it is taken from your payout, but it is part of the price a buyer weighs up.

What will my buyer pay?

Marketplace fee: up to £2.25. The buyer pays up to£30.25 in all.

How to pay less in Depop fees

  • Let the buyer pay for the label. On the £25.00 jeans it leaves you £23.89 instead of £20.97 when you cover the label.
  • Pick the right parcel size. The label price follows the size you choose, and Depop can pass on the carrier’s extra charges if a parcel is heavier than its label allows.
  • Boost what needs it. A boosted sale costs 12% more, so boost slow sellers, not items that would sell anyway.
  • Bundle. A bundle pays the £0.30 processing charge once instead of once per item.
  • Price for offers. Fees follow the final price, so price with room to accept an offer.

Depop fee changes

  • : the Boosted Listings Policy set the boosting fee at 12% for UK and US sellers, on listings created from this date (Depop’s fee table footnote). Australian sellers pay 8%, and a listing boosted before this date may still be charged the previous 8% too — check your receipt.
  • : the Marketplace fee for UK buyers began, up to 5% of the item price plus up to £1.00.
  • : Depop removed the 10% selling fee for UK sellers on new listings (announced 21 March 2024); the payment processing fee stayed.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Depop take from a sale in the UK?

There is no selling fee. Depop takes payment processing of 2.9% + £0.30 on what the buyer pays for the item and postage, plus a 12% boosting fee only if the sale came from a Boosted Listing. On a £25.00 item with a £3.00 label that is £1.11; on a £10.00 item with no postage, £0.59.

Does Depop still charge a 10% selling fee in the UK?

No. Depop removed the 10% selling fee for UK listings created from 20 March 2024, and its fee table now charges no selling fee to sellers based in the UK selling in pounds. Sellers outside the UK, US and Australia still pay 10%.

What is the Depop Marketplace fee?

A fee UK buyers pay on every purchase since 15 April 2024: up to 5% of the item price plus up to £1.00, VAT included, not charged on postage. On a £25.00 item that is at most £2.25. It never comes out of your earnings, and it is refunded if the order is.

How much is the Depop boosting fee in the UK?

12%, under the Boosted Listings Policy in effect since 23 March 2026: charged on the item price, plus postage if you arrange your own, and never on a Depop Shipping label. You pay it only when the buyer saw your boosted listing and bought within 28 days. On the £25.00 example it is £3.00.

Why does Depop’s boosting example show a different processing fee?

The Boosted Listings Policy’s UK example prices processing at 3.3% + £0.45, £2.10 on a £50.00 sale. That is the US rate: Depop’s fee table lists 2.9% + £0.30 for the UK, £1.75 on the same sale, and this calculator follows the fee table. Your sale receipt shows the fee actually charged.

When do I get paid on Depop in the UK?

With Depop Shipping (Evri), 2 business days after the item shows as delivered or 10 business days after the sale, whichever comes first. With your own shipping, 10 business days after delivery. Funds can take up to 5 days to reach your bank account.

What should I list at on Depop?

Use “What should I list it at?” in the calculator. For £15.00 profit on an item that cost you £5.00, with the buyer paying a £3.00 label, list at £21.00. Offers lower the price the fees are charged on, so leave room for them.
